WHERE DO YOU SEE BEAUTY- or DON'T YOU?

From the page: "Where Do You See Beauty- or Don't You?

Seeing the beauty

Funny, today I can see beauty all around me. 15 years ago I saw very little of it.

Today, I see beauty within me and you; 15 years ago I found most people ugly inside, they all wanted something I thought.

What changed? Through a wonderful person who said exactly the right thing at the right time, and a spirit within that let me hear, I suddenly had new sight. We can help you find it."

No Good Deed goes unpunished

We try to help others, we try to do the "right thing", and sometimes, even though we have the best of intentions, and the most unselfish of thoughts, things don't always go as planned.

In this podlet, I talk about how that experiance happened to me, when a nice man volenteered to use his truck to shovel my driveway

Super FAQ (OPML FAQ) - Biz Ideas

What it is:

FAQ's or (Frequenty Asked Questions) are everywhere in our world today on every topic imaginable. Many of these orginally started from usenet newgroups. People would ask the same questions over and over again, and nice "volenenteers" would take the time to document these frequenlty asked questions and write a post to refer to them.

Over the years, FAQ's have become as much (or more) of a marketing tool. Easily introducting people to your product by "making up" frequently asked questions that you think people might ask.

Fast facts about your body

Some more fun facts, you just gotta love em :-)

From the page:

Hiccups happen when the diaphragm, the muscle that controls our breathing, becomes irritated and start to spasm and contract uncontrollably. With each contraction, air is pulled into the lungs very quickly, passes through the voice box, and then the epiglottis closes behind the rush of air, shaking the vocal chords, causing the "hic" sound. The irritation can be caused by rapid eating, emotional stress and even some diseases. The best cure? Breathing into a paper bag. This calms the diaphragm by increasing the amount of carbon dioxide in your bloodstream.

The length from your wrist to your elbow is the same as the length of your foot.

Your heart beats 101,000 times a day. During your lifetime it will beat about 3 billion times and pump about 400 million litres (800 million pints) of blood.

Your mouth produces 1 litre (1.8 pints) of saliva a day."

Some thoughts on "Daylight Savings Time"

You know that wierd thing that many of us have to do to set our clocks forward (or backwards)

Spring Ahead - Fall Back

Why do we do this - it doesn't really "save" time, so why do we call it that?

College Candy

From the page: "Ask any girl what the worst thing her boyfriend/fiancée/husband could do to her, and the answer is probably going to be the same: cheat.
