Time machine JC Penny 1977

By: Johnny Virgil 15 Minute Lunch. Ever watch one of those old movies or see an old catalog. The style of the time often isn't noticed until it is at least 10 years past, and then we all think. What were we thinking? Here's some funny pics from a 1977 JC Penny catalog. Very retro ;-) Read More... http://www.bwebcentral.com/blog/2/659

Uggg! Have I fallen of the wagon :(

Confessional: Nov '06

Spent most of the morning looking for podcast software for my mobile
device. I don't use iTunes or own an iPod. so it was a little tricky
finding something that worked. I think I have it now, but the morning
is gone.

Was this part of my 'blog' addiction, I don't know, maybe if
downloading podcasts and viewing them a 'pre-defined time' maybe this
will help me keep from taking away time from other things..or maybe it
is just a rationalization to feed my addiction.

Have you seen her?

As I was driving in my car the other day, A song came on the radio, it sounded somewhat familar but not the version I remembered. The song was called “Have you seen her”.

I was racking my brain to remember what version of the song I used to listen to only to find out it was and MC Hammer version.

I was also surprised to find a copy of it on the Internet Archive ! Enjoy[Disclaimer:] I’m assuming if it’s in the Internet archive, it’s okay to link too, but if not I apologize. While every effort is made to comply with copyright laws..sometimes it’s grey and I’m not always sure.

A Simpler Way: Holistic care on the rise for individuals with cancer

In an uncharacteristically complimentary news report by a mainstream paper, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer writes about a recent study regarding cancer patients and the treatment choices they make. The study, conducted by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (also in the Northwest) found that 70% of people undergoing cancer treatments were also seeing non-conventional therapy options as well.

Guys at Home Depot

Two guys, one old and one young, are pushing their carts around Home Depot when they collide.

The old guy says to the young guy, "Sorry about that. I'm looking for my wife, and I guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was going.

"The young guy says, "That's OK. It's a coincidence. I'm looking for my wife, too. I can't find her and I'm getting a little desperate."

The old guy says, "Well, maybe we can help each other. What does your wife look like?"

The young guy says, "Well, she is 24 yrs old, tall, with blonde hair, blue eyes, long legs, big boobs, and she's wearing tight white shorts, a halter top and no bra. What does your wife look like?"

The old guy says, "Doesn't matter --- let's look for yours."
